The CRA invites taxpayers to share ideas for service improvements

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is dedicated to enhancing the service experience for taxpayers and benefit recipients. To achieve this, we are launching public consultations to gather valuable feedback from individuals, non-professional representatives, and tax intermediaries.

How to Participate

From September 25 to December 2, 2024, you can share your experiences with CRA services through:

  • An online questionnaire

  • In-person and virtual consultation sessions (by invitation)

Objectives of the Consultations

As technology and societal trends evolve, so do your expectations of government services. The CRA aims to:

  • Understand the specific challenges you face

  • Identify areas where our services do not meet your expectations

Impact of Your Feedback

Your feedback has been instrumental in driving significant service improvements, including:

  • Digital Application for the Disability Tax Credit: Streamlining the process for essential support.

  • Enhanced Sign-In Services: Providing faster and more secure access to online accounts.

  • Learn About Your Taxes Tool: Assisting young people in managing their tax obligations.

  • Extended Contact Centre Hours: Ensuring timely support.

  • Expanded Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP): Offering free tax-filing support to vulnerable populations.
